The Challenge
With their market share eroding, Clif Bar® shifted their brand positioning from a
niche bar for “crunchy” outdoor enthusiasts to a broader “better-for-you” source of
energy for active people everywhere. To support their new position, Clif Bar created
a wide array of products to meet everyone’s needs–from competitive athletes to
casual hikers to young children.
What We did
To spread the word and lend their credibility, we reached out to nutritionists and
dietitians with an email campaign that laid out the breadth of Clif’s new product
line and legitimize the benefits of each product with respect to clients. We also
included links to credible reference materials and studies backing up our claims
with hard science.
